Borat: Cultural Learnings...

YEAR: 2006 RATED: R
This is a film best watched with a packed audience (for contageous laughter) or with a couple friends while drinking a few at home. A hilarious film that quite frankly is a bit short and dull at points, but I'm not sure how long he could keep the act going. I think it's best left as a short sketch on his "Da Ali G Show" on HBO where it remains fresh. Don't get me wrong, I'll find myself quoting this film for weeks and wouldn't mind watching this again. Just a hilarious time with a movie that is basically unlike any other you'll see in the theater.

Well unless you have been living in a cave recently you have seen or heard of Borat. He is a Kazakhstani TV reporter who has come to America to learn about our culture. Borat is easily the funniest film of the year but there really hasnt been much competition in the comedy department. Be prepared for crude humor, excessive nudity (male unfortunately) but just the right touch of heart to where you dont feel dirty for having watched it. I'm sure it will even better with multiple viewings. Very nice...I like!!
