E.T.

YEAR: 1982 RATED: PG
This is one of the greatest movies in cinematic history. E.T. is a movie you can watch no matter what your age, although I'm sure it's a bit scarier for kids. I'm sure everyone reading this review has seen the movie, but I'll digress anyway. This is the best of all Spielberg alien flicks, one with a million memorable scenes, lines, actors, angles; and even the music score is classic. This film also has arguably the most famous scene from any movie: E.T. and Elliot on the bike at night in front of the moon. Spielberg at his best.
Hands down one of the best family films of all time. Steven Spielberg has crafted a masterpiece that was the biggest blockbuster of all time for many years. The last twenty minutes of this film is absolutely unforgettable. If you haven’t seen this, rent it right away.
What can you say, it’s E.T.  I saw it when I was growing up, so I’m probably skewed a little bit about how much I liked it, but it’s one of those staple movies that people need to see whether or not they like it.
