Compared to previous mob-related films, Martin Scorsese brings us into the gritty and uncivilized mob world like never before. Taking place in New York in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, we follow Ray Liotta as he grows up and fulfills his dream of becoming a gangster. Joining up with Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci, you know this film has to be good. It's an instant classic and a must-see for anyone who loves drama, violence, the mob, and so on. I didn't care for the constant narration or the choppy storyline, but it's still a movie I'll watch again and again.
