An instant classic! Jurassic Park blew people away with it's special effects - effects that still dazzle people a dozen years since it was first released. But these effects are only a part of why this movie is so great. Spielberg brings his magic touch to this very unique and thrilling story, putting you on the edge of your seat. It has an E.T. feel, where you get lost in the movie, feel for the characters, and see stuff you'll never see anywhere else. Absolutely a must-see.

A Spielberg classic that is among a handful of films I remember seeing in theatres when I was younger and also one of a few films that revolutionized the way films were made. Although we take things like seeing dinosaurs on screen for granted now, the look on peoples faces after seeing them for the first time back in 1993 was priceless and blew away audiences around the world. And the best part is the effects stand up over time. One of his best films and should not be missed.

With some exceptions (as they always tend to screw up a movie adaptation of any book), the movie was done pretty well. A great premise, and a decent movie as far as action goes. Interesting characters, and keeps you involved. I’m not sure if it would have the same effect seeing it out of theatres, but I consider it a must-see.
