YEAR: 2009 RATED: PG-13

So I saw this movie when I was really bored and it was raining out, expecting it to be a pretty bad movie with cool special effects. It was surprisingly worth the ticket price as I found myself really sucked into the story and trying to figure out how it would unfold. Nicholas Cage stars as a dad who's son came across a bunch of numbers that keep predicting major catastrophes and he attempts to avert them and understand their meaning. While admittedly it really does go to a sci-fi level I wasn't expecting, it was still a fun movie to watch that both entertained, thrilled, and kept you on the edge of your seat. Even if the plot is a bit shallow.
