YEAR: 2009 RATED: R

Despite the odd title (it's actually a remake of a 70's film), and despite the mediocre reviews you'll read about this, I really enjoyed this film. My main hang up is the story isn't very complex, nor do you know much about the two main characters, but John Travolta and Denzel Washington bring their A games to the screen. Complete with fantastic music and the high-tech directing of Tony Scott (Enemy of the State), this is a gripping thriller from beginning to end.
