The Terminal

YEAR: 2004 RATED: PG-13
Tom Hanks and Steve Spielberg team up again in this semi-comedy, semi-drama.  "Fifty-fifty."  Hanks has a great Russian accent throughout and the story follows his daily adventures as he lives in an airport terminal for a year.  Old-school Hanks humor is shown in this film, as was expected.  And although the movie is predictable and rose colored throughout, Hanks pulls it off to where it feels like an original experience. Definitely a good movie to watch every now and then.

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks join up again and they succeed in creating an enjoyable film. A movie that has a similar feel to Catch Me If You Can, Tom Hanks stars as a man stranded in an airport when his visa expires in midair. Hanks is terrific and believable but the reason this movie really works is because of the great supporting cast. You really get to see his character change through many relationships and although it is predictable, you are too busy enjoying the film to think ahead. Not their best work but its still an enjoyable film.
