YEAR: 2007 RATED: PG

This was a really good foreign film about a young child who has an IQ of 180 and is a musical prodigy among other special talents. The young actors were great, which is surprising since often child actors cannot deliver on the same level I saw in this movie. The plot also starts out a bit unfocused but quickly hits a good stride and you're pulled in until the very end of the film. The mix of side characters that young Vitus meets along the way also adds depth to the film. Just like most foreign movies I see, this one delivers on all levels and is just an all around quality movie well worth your time.
