John C. Reilly stars as Dewey Cox in this quasi spoof of Walk the Line (The Johnny Cash story). The film follows Dewey from his childhood years through his retirement. The movie has its share of laugh out loud moments but also has an equal amount of akward jokes that totally fall flat. Reilly is basically a Will Ferrell clone and although he is pretty funny, his antics get rather old. The film also has at least a dozen famous faces that continually pop up throughout. In general this is an average comedy that is a rental at best.
