YEAR: 2006 RATED: PG-13

As much as I liked the actors in this movie, the film couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a comedy, drama, or marriage-saving after school special. It was well paced and had it's funny moments, but ultimately the drama and resolution felt a bit contrived and I'd only catch this on a bored Saturday night on TV if I were you. Nothing too special.

Although the trailer for this comedy looks pretty bad I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Matt Dillon, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson star in this comedy about a best friend (Wilson) who temporarily moves in with his newlywed friends. Although a lot of the comedy felt very forced, the storyline was rather original and refreshing and there a few co-stars with some great lines including the always great Michael Douglas. Definitely not worth buying but an enjoyable rental that is good for some laughs.
