YEAR: 2008 RATED: PG-13

The director of such blockbusters as "Independence Day" and "The Day After Tomorrow" brings his epic vision to the year 10,000 BC. This time around he uses computer graphics even more to depict the ancient world and takes us on a far-fetched adventure in a time period rarely depicted in the movies. While the music, cinematography, and thrilling events give rare glimpses into a movie that could have been great, overall you'll find the story and acting to be pretty cheesy. It's a shame, but it's true. Honestly I would skip this movie altogether, both at the theater and on DVD.
